“Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in ALL things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we (do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness). that will not wither.” (1 Corinthians 9:25) AMP “WEIGHTS” Natural things taking up too much of our time —- things that keep us from more of God (Hebrews 12:1). “We must lay aside every “WEIGHT” and the sin which does so easily beset us , so that we may run with patience the race that is set before us.” Ask yourself , what makes YOU tick? What is it that you think about the first thing when you wake up in the morning? What is the center of your attention in your life? If it’s not God and His Word and His kingdom , then you must make a change . YOU , must give God FIRST PLACE in your life. TODAY, RIGHT NOW, remove ALL OF THE “WEIGHTS” attached to your feet ! Lay aside every “WEIGHT” and run with patience the race God has set before you, and start living the ASCENSION LIFE! We must all know the truth, that we are not our own (1 Corinthians 6:18) . We belong to a spiritual order, we do not belong to this earth. Our souls, (our minds, wills and our emotions) and our bodies —-our whole position through the eternal Spirit —-always must be on the ascending position——and by the power of the Holy Spirit we “WILL” be lifted up into a very blessed state of fellowship with God. And in this place we “WILL” have power over everything . Our power comes from God through the Holy Spirit, that lives inside every Born-again , BELOVED BELIEVER! YES, we exist on this earth and we know that we are heavenly citizens . That’s why we must remove ALL “WEIGHTS” from our feet , and begin exchanging our thoughts for His thoughts and our ways for His ways, “While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen .” (2 Corinthians 4:18) YES, mortality is necessary, it is also a hindrance . It “WEIGHTS” us down. We must live in a higher position . To ascend is to be transformed while living here on this earth with God’s Power through the Holy Spirit working within us. We must go the rest of the distance and remove ALL the earthly “WEIGHTS” Things that keep us from putting God FIRST PLACE in our lives. TODAY, RIGHT NOW , make that quality decision to live the Ascension Life right here on the earth . Living the Ascension Life is a higher level of life!
